ABOUT Halloween 2024

The Context

Halloween has evolved into a celebration dominated by human-centric traditions, overshadowing its darker origins. Since the 20th century, humans have appropriated their forms as costumes, consumed their favorite snacks, and commodified their legacy for entertainment. This project was born from a provocative “what if” question: What if the monsters finally had enough?

THE CONCEPT

The “Monsterfesto” is a fictional manifesto that channels the spirit of rebellion. Bold, political poster-inspired typography combined with playful monster illustrations to vividly bring their movement to life. Their message is clear:

“LET THE HUMAN CLASS TREMBLE AT A MONSTER REVOLUTION.

BROTHERS & SISTERS, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BUT OUR CHAINS.

*Also, we would like our snickers bars back”.
